Security

  • All configured table and column names are checked against the database before they are used for reading or writing.
  • The connector can enable encryption using the server's certificate, but this is not validated by the connector and if the server does not have encryption, the messages will not be encrypted.
  • A solution is being worked on with Siemens to be able to use their own certificates and their validation in the future.
